Hu, Nyakio. I think it was terrific of you to take the time to go into this topic so thoroughly. Perhaps you could give examples from your own life … I find that’s always helpful. Lastly, the full quote, developed in the 12-step programs to overcome addiction and recited at almost every meeting: “[some say God] Grant me the ability to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”
