Your mental health and safety comes above everything. Even when it seems there is no escape and no light at the end of the tunnel, please hold on. Rock bottom means the only way is up.

You are allowed to share your story, even if it makes people uncomfortable. The truth will always cause some people discomfort. It’s there responsibility to manage that discomfort not yours.

You deserve to speak your truth Eve if it paints people in a bad light. If they wanted you to tell your story differently,they should have behaved better.

The way you choose to live your life is your decision. You can survive other people’s disappointment or disapproval. Your decision may allow you to not just survive but thrive.

Prioritize your peace every single time.

You are not responsible for protecting anyone or anything which has harmed you,no matter how powerful they are.

Where might this go? PR possibilities and outcomes for the Royal Family and how I think they should handle after Meghan markle and prince Harry revelations

Scenario 1: Ignore.

This would probably the safest immediate reaction, however, it would be horrifically damaging over time. Whilst older people despise Meghan and Harry, young people overwhelmingly support them. In fifty years, Elizabeth II’s legacy could be of the interview.

Scenario 2: Weak show of concern.

This probably is what courtiers want. Say just enough to appear concerned, but do nothing. Again, good immediately but bad historically. Demographics in Britain are changing. I don’t see anyone thinking this was good leadership in 20 years.

Scenario 3: Deny Everything

While this would definitely appeal to Meghan haters, it leaves the Firm open to litigation. Believe me, Harry and Meghan have receipts. I’m guessing call logs with HR and emails and texts to concerned friends. They were specific. Lie and you’re toast.

Scenario 4: Give strong support verbally, make modest efforts.

Whilst Meghan haters would push back, a skilled PR team could spin this to quell most. (Definitely not all.) Sack a couple of advisors, strongly denounce racism, hope for Christmas pics with the Sussex clan.

Scenario 5: Admit it, strong show of support.

This would be bold, and honestly given how they’ve taken to bad PR, I doubt they’re brave enough to try. In this scenario they’d admit messing up badly, and strive to mend things sincerely with Harry and Meghan. Best solution, but hardest.

If it were me, I’d advise to at least show some form of support. (Even if everyone hated each other at this point.) This PR war could be long, costly, and ruin everyone’s legacy and plans. However, being blackmailed by a tabloid press who needs conflict to get paid is complicated..

I don’t see Meghan and Harry easily agreeing to line up and smile for the tabloids who’ve tried so hard to destroy them. I also don’t see royals with a lot of skeletons willing to risk their secrets being exposed to mend things with Meghan and Harry.

It’s definitely tricky…

Still, if Charles or William were brave enough to give an impassioned plea for real healing….it might make a good enough of a story to overcome the skeletons. I’d like to see that, but I’m guessing Scenario 2 is what we’ll ultimately get.

— At some point Charles stopped taking Prince Harry’s calls.
— Prince Harry claims Charles and William are trapped, still feels compassion for them
— The Royal Family is terrified of the tabloid press.

— Both Harry and Meghan repeatedly confirm they would have stayed if they had the support they needed from the family.
— Other than with The Queen, the Sussexes relationship with the rest of the family remains strained.
