British Royal Family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex interview with Oprah Winfrey is the most searched interview in Google Trends history.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey is the most searched interview in Google Trends history.

The search engine published its “Year in Search” list for 2021 on 8 December, finding that the interview dominated searches in March.

During the two-hour sit-down interview, which aired in the US on 7 March and a day later in the UK, the couple made several revealing but not so much surprising (if you were following Harry and Meghan honestly) statements.

Meghan Markle said she had felt suicidal while living and working as a member of the royal family and that when she tried to seek professional help, she was told it wouldn’t be good for the institution.

Prince Harry and Meghan officially stepped down from their duties as senior members of the royal family in March 2020.

Elsewhere in the interview, Harry revealed that he does not have a relationship with his brother, Prince William.

“The relationship is space, at the moment. Time heals all things, hopefully,” he said.

He also revealed he had been “financially” cut off by his family and that his father, Prince Charles, was not picking up his calls.

Make no mistake. This is a take down – one woman, That is Meghan Markle The Duchess of Sussex against the monstrousity that is the British media. One may think that the media is in the Monarchy’s pockets but may very well be that it is the Royal Family that is inside the media’s pockets.

I stumbled on the comments of an article about Meghan. It’s amazing the lies that are paraded as facts – these lies are now the reasons people tell themselves to justify their hatred. Get this- you see tabloid media make a concerted effort against one woman – look closer.

Never ever join in with the media on a hate campaign without being certain of its roots. Google- for everything you see in the tabloid- find out exactly what happened, do not rely on their interpretation. If they say there was a speech, listen to the whole speech yourself.

Go in with an open mind. Check for yourself every event or speech Meghan made while working as a Royal and without the influence of tabloid opinion ask yourself if you SAW or HEARD any wrong doing. The answer is NO.

Work chronologically and review the tons of thousands of articles written about her and compare to her actual engagements and speeches- it makes absolutely no sense the level of hate directed at her for existing alone.

Remove the unfortunate utterances of her father and family which she could not control and the fact that she could not defend herself while she was a member of the Royal family. Ask yourself under what circumstances will the palace feel obliged to share intimate details with the press?

What sin could she have committed? Forget the Oprah interview- to me that was her only rebuttal after the onslaught of media abuse that she faced. In my opinion, she held back at that interview. I don’t think I would have been that kind.

Make no mistake. This is a take down – one woman against the monstrousity that is the British media. I had thought that the media was in the Monarchy’s pockets. It may very well be that it is the Royal Family that is inside the media’s pockets.
