Prince Harry and Princess Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex ‘s Archewell foundation provided back to school essential for girls in Nigeria

Prince Harry and Princess Meghan’s Archewell Foundation is providing girls in Nigeria with school essentials and feminine hygiene products. This comes after Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Foundation expands its advocacy for Afghan refugees through a new partnership with MinasList. Previously, the lovely couple visited Liberty Village, a transition hub for 11K refugees, and donated to 4 charities focused on resettling Afghan families.

The most powerful and popular couple took to their website to announce this incredible news.

As students around the world returned to school this month, The Archewell Foundation supported girls’ education and health by sending school supplies and menstrual products to young scholars in Nigeria with The GEANCO Foundation.

GEANCO provides critical health care and education services in Nigeria. Its David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship provides full tuition, medical care, and social and emotional support to young female victims of terrorism and gender inequality in Nigeria.

Afam Onyema, CEO of GEANCO, joined the Archewell staff to help fill backpacks with supplies and menstrual products. AWF’s support will also provide menstrual health education for 2,500 girls in the region GEANCO serves, supporting the health and well-being of girls pursuing their education.

In 2013, during South Africa royal tour, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex visited the Nelson Mandela Foundation and Center for memory in Johannesburg. The day Mandela died, prince Harry pitched South African flag in Memory of Mandela .

“Prince Harry has always been interested in the life of Mandela and is said to “idolize” the anti-apartheid campaigner.”
