While in the Netherlands, the Duchess of Sussex joined Build Make Be’s entrepreneurship course in April as a guest coach to give inspiring and encouraging feedback on the young people’s sustainable business pitches.

Project Fearless is a Dutch non-profit organization serving girls and non-binary kids in Amsterdam. It’s through their 3 years celebration we have learned that , Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex , gave the young girls inspiring and encouraging feedback on their sustainable business pitches, and enthusiastically joined in with a group exercise on facing fears..

Fearless is officially 3 years old!
To celebrate, we’ve been counting down our top 3 milestones from the last 3 Fearless years… and today’s milestone is extra special.Year 3 – Milestone 3: Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, joins our Entrepreneurship course as a guest coach
Earlier this year, Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex joined our first Entrepreneurship course as a guest coach!


During her visit, she gave the girls inspiring and encouraging feedback on their sustainable business pitches, and enthusiastically joined in with a group exercise on facing fears.


“Safe, supportive spaces like Project Fearless allow girls the opportunity to express themselves, build each other up, gain resilience, and tackle new challenges,” said The Duchess, a supporter of women-led initiatives and co-founder of Archewell.


It’s through incredible experiences like this
that our girls are able to meet inspirational and accessible role models. Hearing how they’ve shaped their paths in life, and knowing that they,too, can pursue any goals they choose!


We are so proud of our continuous growth,
from our movement and sports programs to
collaborations creating opportunities for girls to break through glass ceilings and beyond.


From our first 30 girls back in 2019, we’ve now welcomed 747 kids to our programs – and we can’t wait to meet all the new faces that the coming years will bring!

Meghan has a history of advocating for girls and women’s rights. Before marriage to Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, she was a United Nations Women’s Advocate for Women’s Political Participation and Leadership. Through World vision, the biggest and International children’s charity she was able to visit,learn more and bring attention to, The Myna Mahila Foundation , an Indian organization which empowers women by encouraging discussion of taboo subjects such as menstruation, and by setting up workshops to produce low-cost sanitary protection to enable girls to stay in school. It was founded by Suhani Jalota ,who became the Duchess of Sussex’s friend. On her return from the visit, the then suit star, wrote a very Powerful easy on Effects of menstruation on girls education on Time magazine.

In celebration of Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex 40th birthday, Sussex Squad,the Duke and Duchess Of Sussex Global supporters were able to donate more than $100,000, Indicating that her advocacy are taken seriously and people indeed follow her leads and supports her causes. A leader indeed!

Meghan Markle IMPACT! Outland Denim reached new heights when Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, wore a pair of the brand’s jeans four times while on her tour of Australia and was able to create 46 new positions for women who have been rescued from trafficking for the company.

Outland Denim reached new heights when Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, wore a pair of the brand’s jeans four times while on her tour of Australia with Prince Harry in 2018 during her Australia royal tour.

“Oh man, it’s hard to put into words [the Meghan Markle effect] it caused a lot of growth and growing pains as well and that’s the awesome and challenging sign of something as miraculous as that.”

As a result of the interest caused by Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex ,Bartle was able to create 46 new positions for women in his company. Something which has a flow-on effect into the communities and dependents the women are responsible for.

Bartle told the press at the time that online sales increased by 2300 per cent over the two weeks following Meghan’s appearance in the jeans saw, while traffic to their website spiked by 1000 per cent in the 48 hours after the Duchess wore them.

“She didn’t receive the jeans through us. We’re not sure how she heard of us but are thrilled that the brand’s ethos aligns with her own,” Bartle told Vanity Fair.

“On top of that, the denim is very comfortable and she wore them day after day on the tour. As a company it’s been win-win, but it’s benefitted people who really need help and I hope Meghan knows that.”

Outland Denim is one of ten businesses honoured in the 2019CO Leadership Awards, awarded by fashion technology and business platform Common Objective (CO).

The award was judged by representatives from the British Fashion Council, GQ and Vogue Australia magazine, fashion label Vivienne Westwood and luxury e-commerce retailer Farfetch. The award celebrates “disruptors” in the sustainable fashion space.

Outland Denim was started by James Bartle in 2011 and works with Cambodian women who have been rescued from trafficking to teach them new skills while also paying a fair wage and offering training and employment opportunities.

The brand uses sustainable materials such as organic cotton and recycled fabric waste.

Bartle said it was an “honour” to be recognized by what he sees as leaders in the sustainable fashion space.

“[CO] are campaigning for using fashion for good, and that’s always been our dream and desire … to help right the wrongs of the past in fashion.”

The Queen is Coming! Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex’s anticipated podcast series is on its way!

An Archewell Audio spokesperson confirmed to HuffPost’s Carly Ledbetter in a statement that Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex will release her first podcast series this summer. The highly anticipated new show comes from Archewell Audio and their exclusive partnership with Spotify .

Spotify and Archewell Audio, founded by HRH, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex and HRH, Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex announced their multi-year partnership in December 2020.

“What we love about podcasting is that it reminds all of us to take a moment and to really listen, to connect to one another without distraction,” Meghan and Harry said in a joint statement .

“With the challenges of 2020, there has never been a more important time to do so, because when we hear each other, and hear each other’s stories, we are reminded of how interconnected we all are.”

Harry and Meghan treated us with a special 2020 holiday podcast featuring interviews with tennis player Naomi Osaka, mental health campaigner Hussain Manawer, voting rights activist Stacey Abrams and more, along with a sweet cameo from King Archie Harrison.
